We’ll start with the most important information - spas! Our favorite spas to visit in Santa Fe are: 10,000 Waves and Ojo Santa Fe. Both also offer accomodations so that’s an option for lodging.

Charming Canyon Road - more than 100 Galleries, Boutiques, and Restaurants in a walkable 1.5 miles. 6 min drive from the Santa Fe Plaza.

Double Take - great shopping for vintage wares, clothes, boots & turquoise jewels from the Southwest! Walkable from Santa Fe Plaza. Voted in the top 50 boutiques of the US by NYT!

High Noon General Store - upscale clothing & home goods. Walkable from Santa Fe Plaza.

Rio Bravo Trading Company - cowboy collectibles of the old west, spurs, fancy chaps, pueblo pottery, old pawn silver jewelry. Navajo rugs & blankets, a lot of western & native items.

Shiprock Santa Fe - go here to just look, everything is very expensive! It’s a beautiful collection to admire. On the plaza.

Georgia O’Keefe Museum - see the Southwest through Georgia’s eyes. Walkable from Santa Fe Plaza.

Sky Railway - hop aboard a scenic ride on a vintage train at the Santa Fe Depot!


Restaurants. From most casual to fanciest.

Cafe Pasqual’s - go here, for casual & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner (or all three - it’s that good). Expect a line, it’s worth it, they only take reservations for dinner. Located across the street from Hotel St. Francis.

Esquina Pizza - wood fired pies!

La Choza - where we’ll dine together for the Welcome Dinner, La Choza is a local favorite for delicious traditional food of the Southwest since 1983.

Leo’s Santa Fe - newly opened and has great reviews. Homestyle cooking inspired by the cuisines of Thailand and Malaysia - no reservations.

Paloma - Mexican inspired restaurant & bar.

Izanami - located on the 10,000 Waves property, izanami is an izakaya serving upscale japanese bar food.
